Watering is about 1-2 a week, depends on the temperature. Fertilisation during summer: 2-3 a month with high concentration of an orchid fertilizer for growing (high Nitrogen and Potassium). Change the fertilizer end of summer and use one for blooming with high Phosphor and less Nitrogen. The combination of blooming fertilizer and low temperatur end of summer will help the orchid to produce more flower spikes.

Our colleague Hans Hassinger from Hassinger Orchideen bred this successful hybrid of Epidendrum capricornu and hugomedinae and had it officially registered with the RHS in England on December 8th, 2021. This medium-high species is characterized by a long flowering period. In addition, it also blooms several times a year.
