Dendrobium fuscifaucium – rare miniature orchid from Laos
This botanical rarity was first described in 2022 by Souvannakhoummane & Kumar and is still a very uncommon species in cultivation. It is especially attractive for its small flowers with a dark, chocolate-colored throat/lip center.
Culture: bright to semi-shaded position, preferably mounted or grown in a very airy substrate. Keep temperate to cool-temperate, around 18–25 °C during the day, slightly cooler at night. Water evenly during active growth; after leaf drop, keep it a little drier and cooler.
